Most low-end faucets in the market are manufactured using sand casting, also known as sand casting. The structure inside the faucet cast by this production process is sparse, which can easily form sand holes and air holes, making it difficult to ensure quality. High end faucets are generally made of gravity casting, with a tight internal structure and much higher quality than those made of sand casting. In addition to these, the more advanced manufacturing process for faucets also includes die-casting, which means one-time grinding and forming.
High end faucets are usually cast by gravity, and their valve body metal has a dense internal structure, excellent quality, and long service life. The same valve body, the weight of the products produced by the two processes is different, and the material consumption is also different. The weight difference between gravity cast valve bodies and sand mold cast valve bodies is generally about 1/4. Therefore, the same product has different prices.
